Whatever You Do: Please DON’T Take Diabetes Lightly

- the 2008 study reported on in the New York Times, Type 2 patients were told to maintain their A1C blood sugar levels at 6.0% or lower. After four years, these patients suffered significantly more heart attacks and a higher rate of death compared to patients whose levels were between 7.0 and 7.9%.
